Job Description:
A Guest Service Agent provides reception, and food and beverage services for Guests to contribute to an overall exceptional experience from booking through to check-out and assisting the guests as required.
Job Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a high level of customer service at all times
- Act in accordance with policies and procedures when working with hotel equipment and property management systems
- Attend appropriate training courses, when required
- Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation
- Achieve positive outcomes from Guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
- Use the correct procedures regarding credit cards and cash
- Assist with breakfast operations, serve food and drinks from the bar throughout the day
- Assist other departments, as necessary
- Ensure working environment and cleanliness are maintained to a high standard
- Demonstrate a knowledge of hotel room categories, room rates, packages, promotions, and other general product knowledge necessary to perform daily duties
- Ensure an efficient reception experience for Guests, including check-in/out
- Follow company brand standards and house rules
Job Requirements:
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining a positive attitude when working with a Guest
- Positive attitude and good communication skills
- Competent level of IT proficiency
- Professional manner with an emphasis on hospitality and guest service
- Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
- Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
- Calm, efficient, and organized with great attention to detail
Qualification & Experience:
- Previous experience in a customer-focused industry
