Job Description:
Reporting to the Chief Engineer you will be part of a team of people dedicated to looking after the maintenance and repair of our hotel – its fixtures, fittings and plant.
Job Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service when engaging with Guests
- Respond promptly to maintenance issues and emergency calls
- Work closely with the Engineering Team on any projects or schedules
- Perform day-to-day general preventative maintenance duties within hotel rooms and public areas
- Maintain all tools, equipment, and working areas in proper condition
- Conduct regular inspection tours of the hotel to ensure all operating equipment is working correctly
Job Requirements:
- A positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Good hand tool skills
- Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
- Applicant must be available to work rotating shifts, including weekdays, weekends, evenings and public holidays
- Attention to detail and follow up
Qualification & Experience:
- It would be advantageous for you to have previous experience working with hand -tools within the building maintenance industry
