Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate development of concept for the event
- Coordinate the establishment of stakeholders, development of stakeholders’ map and stakeholder’s matrix
- Coordinate MEC’s outreach programmes
- Coordinate branding on departmental events
- Coordinate Participation on exhibition and other external activities to show
- Coordinate exhibitions protocols and adherence to proper CI
- Convene and Chair internal communication forum (stakeholders) (ensuring that there are meetings and resolutions are recorded and acted upon)
- Monitor the implementation of resolutions
- Conceptualise, plan, coordinate, implement and oversee events according to requirements
- Coordinate the development of a process plan/check list for the event
- Develop and manage the calendar of events
- Coordinate the branding and branding on departmental events, ensuring proper branding
- Coordinate the participation on exhibition and other external activities to show
- Coordinate interdepartmental GPG programmes that CoGTA has an interest
- Coordinate the development of policy and monitoring the process thereof
- Ensure compliance with the corporate identity manual
- Take part in the provincial communication forums when necessary
- Monitoring of implementation of resolutions
- Draft supply chain management memos
- Produce content for the newsletter
- Compile reports
Job Requirements:

- Valid driver’s licence is required.
Qualification & Experience:
- Matric plus NQF level 6/ National Diploma in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Media Studies, or relevant qualification, coupled with 3-5 years’ working experience in Marketing and Events management
