Job Description:

As a Scientific Reviewer (Staff Fellow) in OHT7, you will review and analyze scientific data submitted to the FDA in support of OHT7’s mission to ensure the safety and effectiveness of new and existing in vitro diagnostic devices agents.

Job Responsibilities:

• Effectively communicate within FDA, with device manufacturers, and with other public health stakeholders
• Utilize knowledge and experience to inform scientific and regulatory decisions regarding the safety and effectiveness of new and existing in vitro diagnostic devices as an integral member of multidisciplinary review teams
• Advance expert knowledge and keep abreast of latest scientific
• Prepare oral and written communications of review recommendations

Job Requirements:

• This position will be filled through FDA’s Staff Fellowship Program.
• All applicants born male, on (or after) 12/31/1959, must be registered with the Selective Service System OR have an approved exemption.
• Background and/or Security investigation required.
• One-year probationary period may be required.
