Job Description:
The purpose of this role is to provide support to Operations from a billing and administrative perspective.
Job Responsibilities:
- To support operations staff in ensuring accurate cost data is recorded
- Support HR in Labour Broker roll call (Authorised Posts) balancing and invoice reconciliation.
- KPI’s reporting, tracking and exception management
- Support local business partners by delivering comprehensive, complete and timely Financial information for the purpose of business management and decision making
- Enforce internal controls that adhere to corporate policies and guidelines as well as local laws
- Creation of new clients and vendors in applications
- Oversee billing and carrier payments
- Managing interoffice billing
- Drive operational performance and initiate corrective measures to achieve profitability targets.
- Manage cost and profitability analysis
- Management overview of TMS system
- Identifies and manages continuous improvement initiatives for the controlling function;
- Update of rates, fuel surcharge, etc.
Job Requirements:
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to stick to time constraints.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in financial accounting and administration.
- Good communication skills – both written and verbal.
- A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data.
- Exposure to the logistics environment would be advantageous
- Attention to detail
- Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Commercial and business awareness
- An analytical mind, that is able to see anomolies.
- Minimum of 5 Years’ Mangerial experience preferable
