Job Description: As a Fountain Worker at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, your accommodating personality and ability to balance the needs of a diverse clientele will facilitate a dining experience that guests will savor long after they have taken the last bite. Job Responsibilities: Recommend additional items for consumption. Responsible for proper handling of payments throughout scheduled shift. Provide exceptional guest service. Ensure complete and consistent communication with management, employees, and other departments. Greet guests immediately as they approach. Accurately take guests orders. Prepare and serve fountain items, including alcoholic beverages and food items. Have a complete understanding of all applicable laws and regulations concerning service of alcoholic beverages. Job Requirements: Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies and procedures. At least 21 years of age. High school diploma or equivalent. Polished appearance and demeanor. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate in English. Excellent customer service skills. At least six months of food & beverage experience. Working knowledge of equipment to include, but not limited to blenders, coffee makers and various kitchen equipment.
