Job Description:

Reporting to the Team Leader – End User Computing Support, this 3^rd level role will see you working with 2^nd and 3^rd level Support teams, EUC Technologies and EUC Provisioning and business teams to investigate, analyse and resolve technical incidents.

End User Computing is responsible for the delivery, ongoing management and support of end user devices such as laptops, desktops, thin clients, mobility devices, telephony, video conferencing, printing, and other platforms such as MS Exchange, SharePoint and Microsoft Windows 10.  We manage approximately 9500 endpoints throughout our Support Office, State Offices and Distribution Centres.  EUC also runs our Gadget Bar at our Tooronga Support Office to offer users an easy and friendly way to resolve technical issues as well as seek general

Job Responsibilities:

• Support and resolve issues in person
• Provide technical standards and solutions to meet business needs within technical area of expertise
• May include 24×7 Rostered Support
• Perform aspects of implementation and support of infrastructure across the organisation
• Engage in project work with other teams
• Develop detailed technical designs to satisfy business requirements
• Provide technical expertise and advice as appropriate to the organisation on Microsoft Product Suites, Client Infrastructure, Security protocols, Mobile Devices and Vendor Support
• Work independently and as part of a team to resolve technical issues, as well as the ability to analyse and underpin root cause of problems
• Have a strong focus on governance and the ability to define clear focus

Job Requirements:

Qualification & Experience:

• Demonstrated experience in designing, maintaining and root cause analyse of enterprise-based computing infrastructure in a large scale, complex and distributed business environment
• A demonstrated understanding of DRP and security issues
• At least 3 years relevant technical experience in an IT Development or Support role
• Demonstrated technical understanding of relevant technologies such as Windows Operating Systems, SCCM, Apple MAC’s and iPhones
