Job Description:

The Workplace team is looking for an individual to support Workplace Categories. This offers an exciting opportunity for someone interested in building their capability and knowledge of the property sector and Workplace Categories, working collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders such as the Office of Government Property and Government Property Agency.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Leading on customer queries and requirements, supporting them within our prescribed service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Identify and monitor risks and issues for both Commercial Agreements and business projects, developing mitigating actions with risk owners and escalating as appropriate
  • Support the preparation of documents (e.g. specifications, award criteria, pricing models) ready for Procurement colleagues to go to market for new/renewed Commercial Agreements to required quality and on time.
  • Conducting supplier reviews; managing performance against Terms and Conditions and relevant Key Performance Indicators; development of supplier action plans; identification of cost reduction and value add opportunities; and risk and issue management;
  • Proactively and continuously seeking process and service improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness; driving greater benefits to stakeholders;
  • Review and analysis of data to support effective management of Commercial Agreements and suppliers to achieve growth and commercial benefits
  • Supporting the Commercial Agreement Manager in the overall performance and delivery of assigned Commercial Agreements;
  • The successful candidate may also be required to support category projects including governance and reporting and resource management. This may involve working independently or as part of a team

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to prioritise workload and work at a pace. Well organised, ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Experience in the collation, management, analysis and presentation of management information, data and market information;
  • Proactive approach to developing solutions in order to deliver operational and commercial efficiencies and more effective ways of working; and
  • Ability to effectively manage internal stakeholders, customers and suppliers, having excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence and positively challenge in both customer and supplier environments;
  • Experience of managing Commercial Agreements and suppliers including, but not limited to, the preparation and delivery of supplier and customer meetings in managing the successful performance of commercial agreements, dealing with day to day supplier and customer enquiries, maintenance and management of various performance logs, and risk management.
