Job Description: This position reports to the Director of Global Value Chain Strategy. Position provides technical assistant and administrative support to the Director and supporting team with a high level of independence, initiative, discretion, accuracy, and attention to details. This position serves as an integral communications link between the ELT, ULT/UMT, Regional President, all BU’s and all support groups as well as external organizations. Job Responsibilities: Effectively represents the Director to a broad array of contacts within Chevron, as well as with outside organizations. Works well with high level executives and executive assistants. Contribute as a team player, collaborate, share best practices and simplify work. Maintains effective communications with the Director’s leadership team when requesting information on behalf of the Director. Ensures requests from Corp and BU offices are handled promptly and deadlines are met for various corporate committee-related deliverables to the Chairman, such as presentations, letters and speeches. Provide support for e-mail and workplace posts on behalf of the GVCS. This includes communications, town halls, outlook meetings, etc. Schedule check in meetings. Handles all executive assistant responsibilities. Manages Director’s calendar in Outlook. Coordinate’s logistics and agendas for meetings, conferences, events, and special functions and creative teambuilding activity. Manages pre-read for meetings and travel and places material in appropriate SharePoint/OneDrive folder on Director’s iPad. If needed, material must be converted to pdf format for annotation purposes. Makes appropriate, informed decisions regarding priorities and appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround. Uses discretion to assign action items and follows up for completion. Write and speak in a concise and positive manner that creates a good image of the company and the Director. Qualification & Experience: 5+ years of experience as an Executive Technical Assistant Basic understanding and able to do simple analysis and reporting at direction of Project Managers and Analysts: create reports and slides for presentations/discussions/meetings Able to learn and understand basic enterprise value chain performance: P&L impact of business activity cross segments, Revenue, Gross Margin, Operating Expenses and NOI from BU and Region Coordination and focal point operationalizing the Realized Price & VCO Journey: 1) Understands the ‘playbook’ and able distribute to BUs; 2) Answers basic questions and fields more complex questions for GVCS Project Managers and Analysts to manage Job Details: Company: Chevron Corporation Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Semmes, Al, US Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here vacanciesforyou.xyz
