Job Description:
As part of the Enterprise HR team you will work together with the Organisational Effectiveness team to deliver operational and analytical support in the implementation of the workforce management strategy and associated policies and processes. You will be accountable for Resource Planning and execution within Business Unit (TBC) and will have accountability for the development and maintenance of business manpower plans underpinning the delivery of Unit Total Labour Resource (TLR) / Total Labour Costs (TLC) business objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Development of Forecast and report models and tools which deliver the required level of insight and analytics
- TLR Forecasts and Reports produced must be delivered within the required timescales and to the correct level of detail.
- To support the TLR BRF process through system interrogation, report creation and data validation and working closely with
- LOB Resource/HRBP/HRD/Finance Managers to ensure alignment of process and assumptions.
- To work towards “one truth” standardisation and simplification of TLR analysis and reporting across all of BT Enterprise, with a consistent “brand”.
- To work across the Organisational Effectiveness team to leverage available technologies to create new approaches to data analysis and reporting (e.g. gathering of new data requirement, automation etc.), share best practice across the team, minimising duplication of effort and output.
- To maintain and operate other necessary TLR processes required to enable the LoB to function.
- To respond to appropriate data requests received through the Workforce Management leads and process on behalf of BT Group or Enterprise LOB.
- To provide ad hoc TLR/TLC data analytics, through use of all available technologies as required, to support central Resourcing & Analytics team as required.
Job Requirements:
- Manage their overall workload in order to deliver to timescales, manage work peaks and troughs and unpredictable time scales.
- The job holder will have ideally worked in a business / commercial environment with a clear working understanding of basic business practice
- Prioritise and process work to meet required timescales and customer satisfaction, good organisation skills, high motivation and drive to maintain momentum
- The job holder needs to have well developed interpersonal skills, to deal effectively with people at all levels and be able to represent BT in a professional manner, good written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Needs well developed and proven skills to communicate and proactively work with the internal contacts such as resource leads/HRBP’s/HRD’s.
