Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:
- Create and ensure standards are followed to safeguard the integrity of the Salesforce instance and data flowing across system integrations
- Lead a team of Salesforce professionals who design, support, maintain, administer and enhance the salesforce platform to support our growing user base of financial services professionals
- Manage vendors and consultants as necessary
- Lead solution design sessions with business partners and technical teams, helping to translate requirements/ business rules into detailed technical specifications
- Summarize technical designs and changes to a non-technical audience while providing direction to the delivery team
- Build and implement the architectural strategy and solution design of our Salesforce platform as we grow across new business units at Blackrock
- Manage the implementation and maintenance of Salesforce configuration, custom objects, schema, and flows and their connections to our enterprise business platforms
- Build out the full team by identifying additional roles required to meet strategic goals for the platform
- Passion for Salesforce and its ever evolving set of features and tools
- Familiarity with agile software delivery methodologies and tools such as Jira
- Review and understand current salesforce architecture and integrations, and provide feedback around third-party apps or additional Salesforce functionality to fill those gaps
- Drive results across a broad spectrum of requests, daily ad-hoc issues, tactical, projects, and strategic initiatives
Job Requirements:
- Salesforce Certification(s) / Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) is a strong plus
- At least three plus years in a people and/or technical leadership role
Qualification & Experience:
- Experience with Agile methodology for Salesforce development work
- Experience across Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
- At least seven plus years of relevant experience with Salesforce system ownership and implementation, preferably with instances that contain 200 users+
- Experience with multiple full-lifecycle Salesforce CRM implementations, including managing technical project teams
