Job Description:
AVBOB, Africa’s largest Mutual Assurance Society providing a one-stop Funeral Insurance and Burial solution, has a vacancy for a Moruary Assistant (B2) at their Preparation Centre, situated in Pretoria-West. The incumbent will be exposed to the funeral environment and will be required to perform daily mortuary activities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Preparation and care of the remains of the deceased
- Prepare the deceased for viewing and assist with all collections of deceased
- Assist with preparations and repatriation of bodies for out-state-burials
- Driving fleet vehicles
- Take care of equipment in the mortuary
- Assist in preparing of the grave side as and when required
- Maintain Image and Client Service
- Assist in keeping the mortuary in good hygienic order
- Removal of deceased from various points
Job Requirements:
